I’m Annalese McDermott, a Humanist Celebrant based in Edinburgh, Scotland.

I have served as a Celebrant with the Humanist Society Scotland since 2015, and since then I have had the privilege of conducting hundreds of ceremonies. It is such a fulfilling role, and I feel lucky to be working in a field I love so much. To me, Humanism means living my life with kindness, equality, compassion and respect for other people and the planet that we share.
