Whether you choose an intimate elopement with just the two of you, a micro wedding with close family and friends, or a big celebration with many guests, my role as your Celebrant is to guide you.
One of the most exciting things about creating your wedding ceremony is that it truly is a blank page; it is yours to fill with words, loved ones emotions and elements that feel right for you. I will guide you through the process with prompts and ideas.
Through our initial meeting with one another, I will share with you the magic of the process, giving you time to digest and think about the elements that feel right for you. Together we will co-create your ceremony. Although I write most of your ceremony, you will share parts in writing too, which will be weaved throughout your ceremony. I will give you some homework to do together and ask you to share some words with me, such such as your thoughts on marriage and why it feels important to you, as well as the evolution of your shared time together.It may be that you would like to make vows or expressions of love to one another, and if so, I can offer some ideas about structure.
I will be there to guide you every step of the way. Most importantly, your ceremony needs to feel authentically you, and so, it will go back and forth between. I encourage you to make edits and changes until you feel happy with how it reads and flows.
Hopefully we will be able to meet in person before your wedding for a second meeting, but if not, we will have a video call to go through the finer details before I see you on your wedding day.
